Skills lab is an integral part of clinical, hands-on practice learning which augment students’ psychomotor skills. Skills lab provides an opportunity for the students to strengthen their critical thinking and decision-making skills under the supervision of teachers/facilitators.
Learning psychomotor skills and simulation in the lab also facilitate students to gain confidence before performing any procedure in the real settings.
After the initial training in Skill & Science lab the students attend their mandatory clinical practice in the hospital/community.
Anatomy Lab helps in clearing the fundamental concepts as to how our bodies function. With the help of the models, dummies, bones, etc. Students get to learn not only the theoretical concepts but practical functionalities of the human body as well.
HIMS provide a separate science lab where students can perform basic science experiments. The main purpose of science lab is to provide students with conceptual and theoretical knowledge to help them learn scientific concepts, and through scientific methods, to understand the nature of science.
