Bachelors in Nursing (BSN) 4 Years
The BSN program is spread over 8-semesters and the total credit hours for overall program is 139, designed by Higher Education Commission (HEC). The program is recognized by the Pakistan Nursing Council (PNC) and affiliated by Khyber Medical University (KMU), Peshawar.
Main focus of the program is to prepare knowledgeable, clinically competent professional nurses who will be able to provide comprehensive care at primary, secondary and tertiary levels within hospitals and community settings. The program imparts theoretical knowledge and skills which are grounded in evidence-based practice to ensure safe and high-quality nursing care. In addition to theoretical knowledge and skills, the program aims to enhance critical thinking, decision making and communication skills.
Post Registered Nurse (Post RN BSN) 2 Years
The Post RN BSN program is spread over 4 semesters and total credit hours of curriculum designed and recognized by Pakistan Nursing Council (PNC) for overall program is 60. The program affiliated with Khyber Medical University (KMU) Peshawar.
The Post-Rn BSN program is a two years program designed for experienced registered nurses. This program provides an opportunity to acquire in-depth knowledge and skills needed for clinically competent professional nurses.
