Science Lab
Safe nursing practice rests on a genuine understanding of how the human body works and how disease and treatment interact with it. The Science Lab gives HIMS students hands-on exposure to the foundational sciences behind the BSN, Post RN BSN, and LHV curricula.

- Basic microbiology equipment for understanding infection and asepsis
- Biochemistry demonstration equipment supporting pharmacology and physiology coursework
Why It Comes Before Clinical Placement
Students complete foundational science coursework and lab practicals before their first clinical rotation at LRH or FCTH. A nurse who understands why a medication works, not just how to administer it, catches errors that a purely procedural approach would miss.
