Since its founding, HIMS College of Nursing has worked methodically toward the recognitions that matter most in nursing education — regulatory accreditation, clinical partnerships, and academic affiliation. This page tracks those milestones, along with student and faculty accomplishments as they occur.

Institutional Milestones

• HERA Accreditation — Recognition from the Higher Education Regulatory Authority, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, confirming HIMS meets the province’s regulatory standards for a degree-awarding nursing institution.
• PNMC Recognition — All three HIMS programmes (BSN, Post RN BSN, and LHV Diploma) are recognised by the Pakistan Nursing & Midwifery Council, the national regulatory body for nursing and midwifery education.
• KMU Affiliation — Formal affiliation with Khyber Medical University, Peshawar, linking HIMS students to KMU’s examination, curriculum, and quality assurance framework.
• Clinical MOUs — Signed agreements with Lady Reading Hospital (LRH) and Frontier Corps Teaching Hospital (FCTH) securing structured clinical placement for every HIMS student, plus paid internship pathways for graduates.
