Art & Literary Society
Nursing education is intense and clinically demanding — the Art & Literary Society exists to make sure that doesn’t come at the cost of creative expression. It gives students a structured outlet for writing, public speaking, debate, and visual art alongside their coursework.
Typical Activities
- Essay and speech competitions on healthcare and general topics
- Poetry and creative writing events, often in Urdu, Pashto, and English
- Debate competitions building the communication skills nurses rely on with patients and colleagues
- Art exhibitions and design contests
- Editorial contributions to the college magazine
Getting Involved
Students interested in joining can reach out through their class representative or directly at the college office. No prior experience is required — the society exists to develop these skills, not just showcase them.
