HIMS College of Nursing offers three PNMC-recognised programmes, affiliated with Khyber Medical University and accredited by HERA.
BS Nursing (BSN)
A four-year degree programme spread over eight semesters with 139 credit hours, designed by the Higher Education Commission (HEC). Recognised by the Pakistan Nursing & Midwifery Council (PNMC) and affiliated with Khyber Medical University (KMU), Peshawar.
- F.Sc. (Pre-Medical) with at least 50% marks, or equivalent.
- Both male and female candidates may apply.
- Admission through entry test and merit as per KMU / PNMC rules.
Post RN BSN
A two-year degree programme over four semesters with 60 credit hours, recognised by PNMC. Designed for diploma-holding registered nurses who wish to upgrade to a BSN degree and advance their clinical and leadership skills.
- Diploma in General Nursing plus valid PNMC registration.
- Midwifery / LHV qualification where required.
- Relevant clinical experience is preferred.
LHV Diploma (Lady Health Visitor)
A two-year diploma recognised by the Pakistan Nursing & Midwifery Council (PNMC) and the Nursing Examination Board (NEB). Training focuses on maternal and child health, family planning, immunisation, and community health care.
- Matriculation (Science preferred) or equivalent.
- Open to female candidates as per PNMC / NEB rules.
- Selection on merit and interview.
